Art-Based Lessons

Artists Making A Kinder World Curriculum

The Artists Making a Kinder World curriculum uniquely combines art, inspirational ideals, and public exhibition unlike any other program of its kind, winning enthusiastic praise from teachers and students alike.

Each lesson takes inspiration from an elevating social value such as Respect, Peace, or Hope. Lessons begin with a moment of quiet centering followed by an interactive presentation involving students in integrative understanding in the lesson’s theme.

Lessons conclude with the introduction of an art project, including demonstration of techniques and examples.

Students then dive in and make their own art, concluding with time for each student to show and explain their work.

We highly encourage the display of student art in a public location, broadcasting their voices to a wider audience, showing the positive difference each student can make in the world.
